The trackers used on this website, what they are for, how long they remain, and how to change your mind.
In brief
No advertising cookie is placed without your consent, and no Google service is called before you have made your choice. Refusing is as easy as accepting, and changes nothing about your visit. Your choice is kept for six months, on the French and English versions of this website alike.

Advertising relies on the Google Ads tag, loaded only once you have given your consent, using Google’s consent mode (Consent Mode v2, basic mode): without your consent, the tag is not loaded. It is used to measure how well our advertisements perform and to make the firm known; your contact details are never passed to Google.
Visits and page speed are measured without cookies (Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights): nothing is stored on your device, no personal data is kept, and the technical identifier of a visit is deleted within 24 hours. This measurement does not require your consent.

Trackers marked “not required” are exempt from consent under article 82 of the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés): they are strictly necessary for the service you request, or they record your choice.
Changing your mind
The round icon at the bottom left of the screen, like the “Manage cookies” link at the foot of every page, reopens the banner. Withdrawing your consent deletes any Google Ads cookies already placed on this domain.
